Each week one houseguest is named the “Head of Household” or “HOH,” and has the responsibility to nominate two of their fellow houseguests for the chopping block. In a twist, this season the HOH is currently responsible for naming three nominees to the chopping block.
This week, Angela became the fourth HOH of the season, her second time as HOH so far. However, Quinn activated his “Deepfake HOH” upgrade, overtaking Angela’s HOH and the nomination process, putting Tucker, Makensy and Cedric on the block.
Afterward, a power of veto competition is held to either keep or change the nominations.
This week, Tucker won the power of veto and used it to take himself off the block. Quinn — under the guise of “Angela” — then named Rubina as the replacement nominee, meaning either Rubina, Cedric or Makensy will be evicted.
Julie Chen Moonves will lead the live eviction night ceremony, in which one houseguest will exit the game.
Before the houseguests vote, the three nominees will compete in the “AI Arena” to determine which of the three of them will remove themselves from the chopping block. This will leave only the standard two nominees for the house to vote between for eviction.
Contestants are competing for the chance of a grand prize of $750,000. More than 90 cameras and 100 microphones will capture the houseguests’ every move, 24 hours a day, over the next few months while inside the “Big Brother” house, according to Paramount.
